ill be using it sana as reference to check if properly mabuilt yun sub enclosure ko po.

currently kasi using the parameters given by the manufacturer nakita ko na yun box dimension(H,W,D)

plus may settings din sya dun to playaround with the port settings(port diameter + target frequency then automatically compute nya di yun lenght ng port)

salamat po :)

I've used it only once, the sub sounded really good!  I wouldn't know if it was accurate though. I wouldn't worry too much about that, though.  I think WinISD isn't 100% accurate, but it serves as a good guideline in designing your subwoofer box.

Use it to design a slot-ported enclosure!  It's very easy to use, especially if the subwoofer you're using is already saved in the program's database.

ok nga yun software... atleast may guideline ako para ma-check ko properly kung nasa specs nga yun box n port na magagawa for my sub.

salamat po ulit...

Accurate naman, compared the results of a manual computation to the result that WinISD crunched out. The same lang. :)

@hithard,

ganito ko lang po sya ginamit...

1. click 'New' then you can select the 'driver' from the list(if wala dyan yun model ng speaker mo, you can create your own naman. actually yun sub ko wala sa list so check ko sa site yun mga required paramaters like Qts,Vas,etc)

2. Then after selecting the 'driver', enter # of speaker na gagamtin to build d box.

3. click 'Next' button ulit, tapos select the box type(vented, sealed, etc). Tapos click finish.

Katsupoy,

I think what you have is the WinISD Beta version.  Most of the current and past models of DLS subwoofers are in the database of the Alpha version, including the Magnesium subs.  This is what I used to design the MW10's ported enclosure.  I downloaded both Alpha and Beta versions para mas complete yung list of woofers.  They're both relatively small files anyway.

thanks po

Guys my question lng ako. pano ba binabasa ung graph dun???? ehehe di ko kc ma translate eh.

pero regarding with the port length, pwede naman po ibend yun port or you can try na paliitin yun port diamter into 3inches.
