2023 Fuso Canter FE71 AMT now in PH
Fuso PH launches 2023 Canter FE71, now available with automated manual transmission

Normally, commercial vehicles are designed for maximum payload, durability, robustness, fuel economy, and practicality. But now, Fuso wants to add comfort and convenience to that list.
Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation has launched the all-new 2023 Canter FE71. It comes with a new engine and upgraded safety features, and for the first time, the light-duty truck is available with the Duonic automated manual transmission (AMT) for a more convenient and more comfortable driving experience for light-duty truck drivers and business owners alike.

On the exterior, the all-new Canter FE71 has the V-line concept with an angular headlight shape and horizontal character line for a clean and dynamic look. The body is built using Fuso's trademark RISE (Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution) body for a more robust and safer cab. For easy maintenance, the all-new Canter FE71's cab has a wide tilt angle for unrestricted access to the engine bay.
The interior has a new meter cluster with a multi-information display for things like fuel consumption and trip data. The all-new Canter FE71 has a tilt and telescopic adjustable steering wheel with a dash-mounted gear lever for a better driving position.

Fuso has adopted the Canter FE73's 3.0-liter engine to the all-new FE71. The 4P10-KAT2 inline-four direct injection diesel engine is more powerful and complies with Euro 5 emission standards.
In terms of safety, the all-new Canter FE71 comes with front and rear disc brakes with an anti-lock braking system (ABS) and electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD)

Fuso has the all-new Canter FE71 available in four variants: the 10 and 11-footer light-duty truck with a 5-speed manual transmission, and the new 10 and 11-footer FE71 with a six-speed automated manual transmission.

As for fuel efficiency, Fuso says the all-new Canter FE71 with the AMT can achieve up to 11.6 kilometers per liter after an AAP-sanctioned run back in June 2023. On the other hand, the manual version can do better at 13.10 kilometers per liter.

The Canter trucks have recorded top sales for SFP among the full product portfolio, and they are expecting to strengthen their presence nationwide with the launch of their latest light-duty truck. Interested business owners can now check out Fuso dealerships to learn more about the all-new Canter FE71.
