Ford PH opens order books for 2023 Ranger
Ranger fans rejoice! If you've been waiting to put down a reservation for the all-new Ford Ranger, now you can.
Starting today, Ford is now accepting reservations for the next-generation Ranger at all authorized dealerships nationwide. Interested customers can contact or visit their nearest Ford dealership and be among the first to get their hands on the all-new pick-up truck.
Besides opening the order books for the Philippines, the automaker has unveiled the starting price for the Ranger which will begin at PHP 1.198 million. That's right, the all-new pick-up truck will begin at less than PHP 1.2 million.
“The next-generation Ranger will soon be arriving in the Philippines, and we’re truly excited to work with our dealers to begin accepting reservations this month. The huge anticipation towards the next-gen Ranger is truly gaining ground – from the positive feedback we’re seeing on social media and getting from our dealers, partners, and employees, so we’re starting our launch festivities on a high note by kicking off reservations ahead of our local reveal,” said Mike Breen, managing director of Ford Philippines.
Taking design cues from Ford's global truck portfolio, the Ranger gets a bold new design, a wider stance, a larger grille, and increased width and wheelbase. It also gets the new C-shaped clamp LED headlights that give the Ranger a tougher and bolder look.
When it comes to amenities, the all-new Ranger will be available with either a 10-inch or 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It's powered by the latest SYNC 4A and has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for easier smartphone pairing.
Power-wise, the next-gen pick-up will be available with two turbo-diesel options: a 2.0-liter bi-turbo version that's mated to a 10-speed automatic, and a 2.0-liter single turbo variant that's connected to a 6-speed automatic or manual transmission. For extra security, the next-gen Ranger will also deliver more confidence on and off the road with a suite of safety features and new driver assistance systems like a 360-degree camera.
