All-electric Hyundai Creta revealed with up to 473 km of range
Hyundai India gives first glimpse on Creta Electric

It was exactly a year ago that Hyundai revealed the refreshed Creta for the Indian market. Not only does it get a Palisade-like makeover, but the B-SUV also features a redesigned cabin inspired by the all-new Tucson, complete with digital screens and physical controls.
Fast forward to 2025, Hyundai has revealed an all-electric version of the updated B-segment crossover. Called the Hyundai Creta Electric, the zero-emissions crossover along with some subtle yet distinct exterior styling cues which makes it stand out from the ICE-powered versions.

Starting with the (not-so) obvious first, the Creta Electric gets a unique front fascia with a split grille design. It gets a pixelated-like pattern which makes it stand out from the regular Creta. It also gets active aero flaps on the lower bumper which improve aerodynamics while the vehicle is in motion. Last but not least, the Creta Electric rides on aerodynamically designed 17-inch alloy wheels.

Need to charge the Creta Electric? Unlike most EVs which have their charging ports on the rear quarter panels, Hyundai installed it behind the Hyundai emblem on the front bumper for a sleeker appearance. It also benefits from a vehicle-to-load (V2L) function to power up devices and appliances.
From its namesake, the Creta Electric features a fully electric powertrain although the automaker has yet to reveal its exact specifications. However, the brand did mention that the Creta Electric can go from 0 - 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. In addition, Hyundai shared that there will be two battery packs available; 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh. The former has a range of up to 390 km while the latter can deliver up to 473 km of range on a single charge.

The Hyundai Creta Electric will officially make its public debut at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show in India on January 17. There’s no word yet if the all-electric crossover will be offered outside of India. But given that most markets now offer an EV across different segments, we won’t be surprised if Hyundai brings it to other regions; hopefully, that includes Southeast Asia.
