Ashwani Gupta leaves post as Nissan COO
Nissan to announce new executive lineup on June 27

The Nissan Motor Company is set to make changes in its senior management positions.
Ashwani Gupta, who has been serving as Nissan's representative executive officer and COO since 2019, has elected to leave the company. Nissan says Gupta will pursue other opportunities effective on June 27.

Gupta has been instrumental in the development and execution of the Nissan NEXT transformation plan which focuses on establishing the foundation of Nissan’s business towards growth.
Prior to his role as COO, he has taken key leadership positions and been a driving force in various Alliance projects over several years resulting in many achievements.
By June 27, Gupta is also retiring from the Nissan board of directors. On the same date, Nissan will announce its new executive lineup.
