Big time fuel price hike set for tomorrow
This is the third consecutive time that gas prices have gone up since the start of 2022

Those that need to gas up their vehicles better do it as soon as possible. Gas companies have just announced that there will be another round of price increase this week.
Unlike last week’s price hike which was lighter on the pockets, tomorrow’s price hike will be a bit heavier.
All gasoline products will receive a price increase of PHP 0.90 per liter. On the other hand, diesel will get a substantial PHP 1.80 price hike per liter. Receiving the biggest jump in price is kerosene which will get a PHP 2.30 per liter increase.
Gas companies like Pilipinas Shell, Petrogazz, Seaoil, Caltex, Unioil, and PTT have all confirmed the impending price hike that will take effect at 6:00 AM on January 18, 2022 - that's tomorrow. Cleanfuel also announced that they will be adjusting their prices tomorrow at 4:01 PM.
With a big increase set for gas and diesel (and even kerosene), we won’t be surprised if motorists will start lining up later in the evening. If you do plan on visiting your nearest gas station later, don’t forget to follow the minimum health protocols. After all, the pandemic is still here and active cases continue to rise daily.
