BMW conquers 4,900 km Philippine Loop
BMW has successfully traversed the entire archipelago of the Philippines

After covering thousands of kilometers and enduring a long road trip throughout the country, BMW distributor SMC Asia Car Distributors Corp. has successfully completed the grueling Philippine Loop.
A team of brand representatives traversed the entire archipelago in 20 days, covering an astounding 4,895 kilometers by land and utilizing 3 BMW models. This remarkable journey showcased the versatility and capability of BMW vehicles in long tours and challenging conditions.

The expedition featured the BMW 318i Touring, BMW X3 xDrive20d Business, and BMW X5 xDrive30d M Sport. These vehicles proved comfortable, dependable, and fuel-efficient, even as they tackled diverse terrains, from mountain roads to coastal highways.

The team approached the Philippine Loop as a grand adventure, prioritizing exploration and enjoyment. Apart from the rich culture and stunning landscapes of the Philippines, the group also enjoyed the local delicacies, which offered a glimpse into the country's rich culinary landscape.

The team's expedition highlighted eight key checkpoints across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. These included Atok, Benguet; Tacloban City; and General Santos City. AutoIndustriya.com's very own Brando Rosales was part of the team that was able to cover vast distances which included Ro-Ro ferry crossings between Northern Samar and Mindoro. The crossings allowed the team to enjoy breathtaking views of the Philippine coastlines and islands.
The successful completion of the Philippine Loop marks a significant milestone for BMW Philippines, solidifying the brand's promise for continued innovation, performance, and adventure.
