After being free for motorists to use since it opened last May 4, 2026, the 7.8-kilometer Cavite Laguna Expressway (CALAX) Subsection 3, which connects Silang (Aguinaldo) Interchange to Governor's Drive, is no longer toll-free.

This comes after the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) announced the initial toll rates for the new 7.8-kilometer Subsection 3 of CALAX. The new toll rates took effect yesterday, August 9, with the Silang to Governor's Drive section having the following toll rates:

Class 1 – PHP 35
Class 2 – PHP 70
Class 3 – PHP 106

Meanwhile, motorists who are traveling from Governor's Drive to Greenfield in Mamplasan, Laguna (or vice versa) will have to pay the following toll fees:

Class 1 – PHP 117
Class 2 – PHP 234
Class 3 – PHP 351

With CALAX now spanning a total of 26 kilometers, the newly opened Subsection 3 is expected to accommodate around 6,000 additional motorists. Once the entire 44.6-kilometer expressway is completed, CALAX will seamlessly connect the Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) with the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), serving as a key corridor for motorists and logistic companies.
