Confirmed: GAC to launch 2024 GS8 4WD on August 25

Last week, GAC Motor Philippines announced the Discovery Drive Fest – a three-day event where customers can check out their latest models at the Palm Drive Activity Area in Glorietta 2.
Along with the announcement, they also said they will be launching the latest addition to their lineup. Now they have confirmed it – the latest model is indeed the 4WD version of the GAC GS8 flagship SUV.

This opens up the GS8 to prospective customers who want added confidence over rough terrain. The GS8's potent 252 PS 2.0-liter turbo puts the power down on all four wheels with new drive modes like Sand, Mud, and Snow.
Along with the four-wheel-drive system, we should expect more or less the same amount of equipment in the GS8 4WD as its 2WD GS8 GT counterpart. This includes full-leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, large screens for the instrument and infotainment, plus safety systems like ADAS.

For now, GAC has not released an official SRP yet for the GS8 4WD, but we would not be surprised if they manage to price it under the PHP 3 million range.
GAC will launch the GS8 4WD on August 25 – the first day of the festival, and will be on display for the remainder of the Discovery Drive Fest event.
