Road reblocking and repairs will be finished by October 16

If you're going out and about this coming weekend, you might want to plan your routes ahead of time to avoid further traffic hassle.

The Department of Public Works and Highways has announced they are conducting road reblocking and repairs on 16 different Metro Manila locations starting 11:00 PM tonight, October 13 until 5:00 AM of October 16. The affected roads are as follows:

2. C-5 to Korean Embassy (SB) 2nd lane, Makati City

3. EDSA Taft Ave., to MRT Station 4th lane, Pasay City

4. EDSA Annapolis (SB) to Connecticut (Outer lane), San Juan City

5. Taft Ave corner Pedro Gil St., Manila City

6. EDSA (SB) after Malibay Bridge (Outer lane), Pasay City

14. C-3 Road (EB) between Rizal Ave. to M.H Del Pilar St. (1st lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City

15. Rizal Ave. Exit. (NB) between 11th Ave. and Bustamante St. (2nd lane), Caloocan City

16. EDSA (NB) between Tandang Sora to Gen/ Malvar (3rd lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City

DPWH advises motorists to take alternate routes in the meantime. But by 5:00 AM of October 16, the agency says the affected roads will be fully passable.
