Geely PH expands Coolray lineup with special edition Coolray Sport

Geely distributor Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP) has just revealed a new variant of its best-selling crossover, the Coolray.

Now available in Geely dealerships is the Coolray Sport Limited. It has all of the features and stylish kit as the top-of-the-line Sport variant, and then some.

Immediately noticeable are the 18-inch turbine-style alloy wheels painted black which give the vehicle a sleeker look. But where are the rest of the upgrades? Those can be found inside of the crossover.

Borrowing some technologies from the Azkarra, the special edition model now comes with ventilated seats for improved riding comfort. It also gets a power tailgate with a height memory function for easier loading/unloading of cargo.

When it comes to infotainment, it gets the same 10.25-inch touchscreen media system that supports AM/FM radio, Bluetooth, QD Link, and USB connectivity. Other available features present include a panoramic sunroof, leather seats, automatic climate control, a digital instrument panel, and a 360-degree camera system.

Under the hood of the Coolray Limited is the familiar 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine. It makes 177 PS with 255 Nm of torque and is connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. It has selectable driving modes including Sport, Eco, and Comfort. For added sportiness, the transmission comes with manual sequential shifting.
