Green GSM, Xentro Group to deploy 2,000 VinFast EV taxis nationwide
The new Green Xentro fleet will feature Green GSM's signature cyan livery and meet international eco-friendly standards.

Green GSM, the all-electric ride-hailing brand under the GSM ecosystem, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with AMRC Renewable Corporation/Xentro Motors, a subsidiary of the Philippine-based Xentro Group of Companies, to deploy 2,000 VinFast electric vehicles nationwide. The partnership marks a major step toward advancing sustainable and inclusive mobility across the Philippines.
Under the agreement, Green GSM will supply 2,000 VinFast Nerio Green electric vehicles to Xentro Motors, with the first 1,000 units already secured and the rest to be delivered within two years. These vehicles will operate under the co-branded identity “Green Xentro powered by Green GSM,” initially covering Metro Manila and key provincial cities pending regulatory approval.
The new Green Xentro fleet will feature Green GSM’s signature cyan livery and meet international eco-friendly standards. VinFast EVs are known for their smooth, quiet ride, zero tailpipe emissions, and comfortable interiors—delivering an elevated and environmentally responsible transport experience for passengers.

Green GSM, which launched its all-electric ride-hailing operations in the Philippines earlier this year, is working with partners like Xentro Motors to accelerate electric vehicle adoption through compliant, locally integrated business models. Xentro Motors, in turn, will leverage its nationwide Xentro Malls network to provide EV charging stations, parking, and designated pick-up zones, enhancing convenience for both riders and drivers.
“This collaboration reflects our belief that sustainability and progress can go hand in hand,” said Noel M. Ignacio, CEO of Xentro Motors. “By integrating electric mobility into our ecosystem, we aim to support the country’s transport modernization goals and make green travel accessible to everyday Filipinos.”
Dao Quy Phi, Managing Director of Green GSM Southeast Asia, added: “Xentro is our first local partner in the Philippines, and we believe this cooperation will serve as a strong example for future collaborations. Together, we’re driving a cleaner, smarter, and more inclusive future for mobility.”
The partnership underscores both companies’ shared commitment to sustainable development—combining Green GSM’s expertise in EV ride-hailing with Xentro’s extensive local reach to move the Philippines closer to a zero-emission transport future.
