Honda Civic e:HEV does 30.12 km/l in DOE Fuel Eco Run 2025
Honda Cars Philippines posts new fuel efficiency records for Civic, HR-V hybrid

Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has announced official results from the Department of Energy (DOE) Fuel Eco-Run 2025, which was held last September 24, 2025.
The Eco-Run took place at the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX), with a total distance covering around 155 kilometers. HCPI is pleased to share that two hybrid models, the Civic RS e:HEV E-CVT, and the new HR-V RS e:HEV E-CVT, exceeded their previously held records from the UNR-101 Test Results.
At the end of the activity, the Civic was able to achieve a fuel mileage of 30.12 km/l, while the HR-V achieved 28.08 km/l.
Both models are equipped with Honda’s unique e:HEV full hybrid system, which combines Honda’s sporty DNA, redefined to provide excellent fuel efficiency and practicality for a cleaner, greener future. This is in line with the company’s 2050 goal of achieving carbon neutrality across all its products.
