Hyundai vehicles to appear on PH remake of What's Wrong With Secretary Kim

There’s an upcoming Philippine adaptation of a popular Korean romantic comedy series, but it will still feature Korean vehicles courtesy of Hyundai Motor Philippines.
HMPH has teamed up with streaming provider, Viu, alongside ABS-CBN Studios and Dreamscape Entertainment, for the Philippine adaptation of the romantic-comedy series, “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim”.
Starring Paulo Avelino and Kim Chiu portraying the roles played by Park Seo-joon and Park Min-young, “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim” was a South Korean television hit that first aired in 2018.

HMPH’s range of innovative and sustainable models will be featured throughout the episodes. This includes the all-new Santa Fe, alongside other SUVs like the Palisade, Tucson, and Creta. The MPV family, comprised of the Custin, Staria, and Stargazer will also be present. Not to mention, Hyundai’s pair of award-winning, flagship electric vehicles, the IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6 will also make an appearance. Nameplates such as the Accent, Reina, and Starex, will also be shown.
“To those who are fans of this well-loved K-Drama, we are excited to share that you will be able to catch your favorite Hyundai cars starting today in Viu. Not only that, please look forward to seeing Ms. Kim Chiu and Mr. Paulo Avelino as they put their own spin as leads. Both have recently become our newest brand ambassadors, adding a special touch to this partnership. Moreover, we are excited to be creating meaningful memories with our Filipino customers, as we altogether watch and fall in love once more with this highly acclaimed series,” said HMPH President, Mr. Dongwook Lee.
