Japanese tuner turns Suzuki Jimny into 80s rally cars
DAMD turns Jimny into a Lancia Delta HF Integrale and Renault 5 Turbo lookalike

We've seen countless versions of the Suzuki Jimny being transformed to look like mini-mes of iconic 4x4 SUVs like the Land Cruiser, the Defender, and even the Ford Bronco. But as it turns out, aftermarket tuning shops like DAMD continue to find new ways to get creative with the little Suzuki.
For the 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon, the Japanese tuner is bringing in Suzuki Jimnys with its look inspired by four-wheel-drive icons in the world of rallying – the Lancia Delta HF Integrale and the Renault 5 Maxi Turbo.

The Delta-inspired look, labeled “Little Δ", gives the Jimny the four circular headlights as well as the yellow-tinted foglights and grille of the Integrale. To further achieve the Lancia look, DAMD even put in racing stripes in the middle and a high rake rear wing – reminiscent of Lancia's Group B and Group S rally cars, the Delta S4 and the ECV. To top it all off, the “Little Δ" is painted in red with body-color fenders while rolling on Oz Racing wheels.

Meanwhile, the “Little 5” gives a rather playful tribute to the original Renault 5 Turbo's signature side decals, saying “Non Turbo” to indicate the Jimny's naturally aspirated engine. In front, the “Little 5” gets the 5 Turbo's rectangular headlights and yellow foglamps, as well as the flat black bumpers. Unlike the “Little Δ", the “Little 5” gets a smaller spoiler fitted to its roof.
Along with the two rally-inspired Jimnys, DAMD will also feature a Defender-inspired Hiace and a Chevy-inspired Daihatsu Atrai kei van at its Tokyo Auto Salon booth this year.
