Get a good look at the all-new Hyundai Accent before its big reveal on March 21
Hyundai has been buzzing lately with its sedans. Apart from showing the first images of the 2024 Elantra facelift, the Korean automaker also dropped the initial pictures of the all-new Accent. Also called the Verna in other markets, the next-generation B-segment features styling cues from the Stargazer and the Elantra.
Since the pictures the automaker released were only design renders, we have yet to see the Accent in the metal. Fortunately, an eagle-eyed photographer in Korea managed to get a good look at the sedan without any disguise.
Pictures of the sedan were uploaded by a user at a Korean forum site dubbed “Bobaedream”. Looking at the images, the sixth-generation Accent/Verna has adopted the brand's Sensous Sportiness design language. This gives the B-segment sedan an Elantra-like look complete with a full-width LED daytime running light that appears to be a direct inspiration from the Stargazer and Staria.
Meanwhile, elements from the Elantra can also be seen via the bold grille, coupe-like roofline, split-type LED headlights, and the distinct LED taillights at the back. Side-by-side with the renders Hyundai first revealed a few weeks ago, it looks like the production vehicle will look a lot like the digital images.
We have yet to see the interior of the all-new Hyundai Accent/Verna. However, we won't be surprised if it will look similar to the likes of the Creta or the Elantra. That means we could expect it to see a fully-digital instrument cluster, a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, digital climate control, and many more similar features.
With the next-generation Hyundai Accent set to debut on March 21, 2023, we're only several weeks away from its official launch. For now, all we can do is wait until its official reveal.
