LTO CALABARZON June ops nets over 22K traffic violators
This include 10,516 expired registrations and 4,095 seatbelt violations

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) CALABARZON (Region IV-A) conducted an intensified road safety operation throughout June 2025, resulting in the apprehension of 22,659 traffic violators. This significant enforcement push targeted various infractions, notably 10,516 cases of unregistered motor vehicles, 4,095 seatbelt violations, 105 instances of colorum vehicles, and 7,943 other road safety infractions.
Regional Director Elmer Decena emphasized the urgency behind these actions. “Given the growing number of road crashes, we are compelled to intensify enforcement efforts to protect the public,” said Decena.
He added that necessary penalties have been imposed and stern warnings issued, especially to owners of unregistered vehicles, saying that continued non-compliance would lead to more severe consequences.

LTO CALABARZON maintains that this heightened enforcement ops aligns directly with directives from the Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Vince Dizon and LTO Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor Mendoza II, both advocating for maximized measures to safeguard all road users.
Asec. Mendoza said that the crackdown on unregistered motor vehicles is a key component of the LTO’s broader “Stop Road Crash” campaign. He further explained that renewing vehicle registration is crucial for ensuring roadworthiness, as it mandates a comprehensive motor vehicle inspection.
LTO CALABARZON’s sustained efforts aim to instill greater discipline on regional roads and significantly contribute to reducing traffic-related incidents and fatalities.
