CCLEX enforcers deputized by LTO

The Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX) is the newest iconic landmark in the Queen City of the South, and it's a given that many motorists and tourists would want to visit the bridge. However, while admiring the bridge structure, they should be reminded that CCLEX is a traffic discipline zone, which means they should obey proper traffic rules.

To strictly enforce traffic rules and regulations in the 8.9-kilometer toll facility, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) has given authority to 16 traffic officers of CCLEX who completed and passed the LTO's deputy training and examinations.

Aside from that, the patrol crew is also responsible for providing 24/7 assistance to motorists for vehicle-related issues and responding to traffic-related incidents, ensuring that CCLEX will always be safe for road users.

LTO Director for Law Enforcement Service Atty. Clarence V. Guinto, who is also the LTO-NCR West regional director, led the graduation ceremony of the patrol crew members along with other LTO-NCR, LTO 7, and CCLEX officials. He requested the newly-deputized patrolmen to be models and advocates of road safety.

“I enjoin you to do good because you do not represent yourself but your organization, CCLEX, and LTO because we gave you the deputization” said Guinto.
