Lynk & Co Z10 is brand's first EV sedan

Lynk & Co has pushed through further with its transition to electrified vehicles. While they already have plug-in hybrids in their model lineup, the manufacturer is now rolling out its first- ever full battery electric vehicle – the Z10.

The Lynk & Co Z10 is an all-electric full-size sedan that’s built on the same SEA (sustainable experience architecture) platform as the Zeekr 001. While both share similar styling cues, the Z10 takes the shape of a fastback sedan rather than taking the Zeekr 001’s hatchback rearend.

Size-wise, the Z10 measures 5028 mm in length, 1966 mm in width, 1468 mm in height, and a 3005 mm wheelbase.

Inside, the Z10 incorporates an AMD chipset that powers the 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, as well as the 15.4 inch floating infotainment display. Rear seat occupants can access entertainment and in-car functions through the Co Pad tablet found at the back of the front seats.

Other interior features include a Harman Kardon 23-speaker sound system, plus leather upholstered seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions.

Offered in 400V and 800V configurations, the Lynk & Co Z10 gets lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries. Lower variants get a 71 kWh battery, while the long-range and AWD versions get a 95 kWh battery pack that gives range of up to 806 km based on the CLTC cycle.

The 400V variants all get a single motor setup, producing 272 PS and 343 Nm of torque, capable of reaching 100 km/h from a standstill in 6.8 seconds. Meanwhile, the 800V variants get a single motor and a dual motor setup. The former makes 421 PS while the all-wheel-drive, dual motor version puts out an impressive 788 PS. The latter can accelerate to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds.

The Z10 also features the smart driving system developed by Lotus Robotics – a tech-focused subsidiary of Lotus Technology which is also owned by Lynk & Co’s parent company Geely Holdings.

In its home market, the Lynk & Co Z10 starts at just over PHP 1.6 million using the latest exchange rates, undercutting the likes of the BYD Han.
