Dubbed the CAVITEX-CALAX Link (CCLink), this expressway will connect the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) to CAVITEX in Kawit, Cavite. With a contract price of PHP 1.79 billion, EEI Corporation will construct a 1.2-kilometer, 2x2 lane expressway extending from the CAVITEX Kawit Toll Plaza to the upcoming CALAX Kawit Interchange. The construction of the link is targeted to commence next month and is set to be operational by mid-2025.

Meanwhile, CIC also inked another multi-billion peso contract with D.M. Consunji, Incorporated (DMCI) for the remaining C5 Link Segment 3B. Under this PHP 3.3 billion contract, roadworks, drainage, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, sanitary systems, and toll plazas for the 2-kilometer, 3x3 lane Segment 3B from Kaingin to RSG Subdivision will be constructed by DMCI. According to CIC, construction of this segment is targeted to commence by the second half of 2024 and is expected to be operational by 2025.
With two local contractors set to begin work on finishing the said projects, motorists that frequently use the expressways will have a faster and more seamless way of traveling on the toll roads.
