On July 28, the Pasig City Traffic and Parking Management Office (TPMO) will be strictly implementing Ordinance No. 23, series of 2016, or the usage of wheel clamps and tire lock systems to immobilize illegally parked vehicles in designated no parking and tow-away zones in various locations in the Pasig City area.

Pasig City PIO released guidelines via their official Facebook page, which covers a total of 101 No Parking Streets / Tow Away Tire Clamping Zones, as well as 28 no-parking zones from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM and one-side parking for light vehicles only from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

In addition, they also announced the corresponding penalties for the removal of clamping devices that amount to PHP 1,500 which shall be paid at the Pasig City Treasurer's Office. In case of illegal removal of wheel clamps, the offender will be subject to a fine of PHP 2,500 or 1-month imprisonment, or both.
