PBBM orders suspension of toll collection in CAVITEX, C5 Link
30-day toll collection holiday proposed by PRA, PBBM approves

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr., has welcomed the Philippine Reclamation Authority's (PRA) proposal to implement a 30-day suspension of toll collection in the Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX). The President approves the proposal and orders its immediate implementation.
“The Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA), as operator of the CAVITEX, proposed to suspend the collection of [tolls] for all types of vehicles passing through the Manila-Cavite expressway in Taguig, Parañaque, Las Piñas, Bacoor and Kawit for 30 days, and this will introduce our new roads and expressways to those who are in need of that transport system,” Marcos said in his speech.

The President also added that the 30-day toll collection suspension will help mitigate the impact of rising fuel costs on motorists.
“So, we welcome this call and thank the PRA for its initiative to help mitigate the impact of rising fuel costs to our motorists. I now count on our Toll Regulatory Board to ensure the immediate implementation, for the benefit of the riding and the transport public,” added the President.
Business as usual
As of this writing, toll fee collection in the CAVITEX and C5 Link is still ongoing and business as usual.
