PHP 605,000 will get you 2024 VinFast VF 3 EV
The VF 3 is VinFast Philippines' idea of an affordable EV that costs less than PHP 800K

After giving us a glimpse of its newest mini electric vehicle (EV) last week, VinFast Philippines has officially launched its most affordable vehicle yet. Say hello to the all-new VinFast VF 3, a budget-friendly EV that offers zero-emissions mobility that won’t break the bank.

Featuring an SUV-inspired exterior design along with a stylish yet minimalist interior, the VF 3 is a compact EV that will serve as VinFast’s most affordable vehicle. The VF 3 is available in 9 distinct colors and measures 3190mm long, 1679mm wide, 1622mm tall, and has a 2075mm wheelbase. Thanks to its small dimensions, the vehicle is perfect for Metro Manila’s tight roads as claimed by VinFast. In addition, its 191mm of ground clearance allows it to take on uneven terrain with ease.

Style-wise, the SUV-like design gives the EV an unmistakable look that appears to have been inspired by the FJ Cruiser. The boxy-like exterior also lends to the EV’s character and ability to seat a total of four people which we’ll get to later. Last but not least, it has 16-inch alloys wrapped in 175/75/R16 tires, a roof that’s rated to carry 50 kg of cargo, and generous black body cladding.
Hop inside and the VF 3 welcomes occupants into a two-tone dashboard along with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system that also doubles as the instrument cluster. As mentioned earlier, the VF 3 can seat a total of four people in comfort although those who will treat the VF 3 as a two-seater will find 285 liters of luggage space with the rear seat folded. Other features worth mentioning include a button-style gear selector, USB charging ports, and a two-spoke steering wheel.

Motivating for the VF 3 is a single electric motor that drives the rear wheels. It makes a humble 44 PS along with 110 Nm of torque and is powered by an 18.64 kWh lithium-iron phosphate battery pack that’s placed underneath the floor. On a full charge, VinFast claims the VF 3 can cover a total of over 200 km based on the NEDC cycle. Recharging the battery from 10% to 70% can be done in as little as 36 minutes.

The VinFast VF 3 is now available at a special introductory price of PHP 605,000 (with a battery subscription). For those who prefer to have the battery included, the price goes up to PHP 705,000. After the special period, the suggested retail price will revert to PHP 645,000 (battery subscription) and PHP 745,000 (battery included). Moreover, from Sept 14 - 30, early customers will only need to shell out an extra PHP 40,000 to customize their car's paint beyond the available nine colors.
For extra peace of mind, VinFast offers an aftersales policy that will provide customers with a 7-year/160,000 km warranty for the VF 3. In addition, an 8-year unlimited mileage battery warranty is included (for battery purchase), and free maintenance and battery replacement if the battery drops below 70% (for battery subscription).

The all-new VinFast VF 3 will take on the likes of the Jetour Ice Cream EV and the DFSK Candy in the mini EV segment.
