Price of gasoline to go up PHP 1.30 on January 31
Gas will go up by PHP 1.30 per liter while diesel will hike by PHP 1 per liter

Now is probably a good time to visit your nearest filling station. Oil companies posted a huge price increase last week with gas and diesel rising to PHP 2.80 and PHP 2.25, respectively. Not even kerosene was spared from the increase as it too was hit with a PHP 2.40 price hike.
With just two days left in January, motorists are awaiting if fuel prices will go up or down. Unfortunately, oil players will once again be imposing another price hike starting tomorrow, January 31, 2023.

Unlike last week’s price adjustments, however, this week’s price increase is slightly lower. Beginning with gasoline, motorists will have to bear a PHP 1.30 price hike. Meanwhile, diesel motorists will only have to contend with a PHP 1 per liter increase. Last but not least is kerosene which will be slapped with a PHP 1.35 increase in price.

So far, CleanFuel, Seaoil, and Shell Pilipinas are the first ones to announce the upcoming price hike set for tomorrow. Shell and Seaoil will adjust their prices tomorrow at 6:00 AM in the morning while CleanFuel will only impose its price hike at 4:00 PM in the afternoon. Expect other oil players to make similar announcements within the day.
With another round of fuel price increases set for tomorrow, motorists who need to fill up soon will want to visit their preferred station as soon as possible.
