Check out this 1:1 scale model of the RC10 Buggy by Team Associated

The annual SEMA Show held in Las Vegas, Nevada is the perfect motoring event where tuners, enthusiasts, and custom rides come together to appreciate all things tricked out and customized.

But did you know the SEMA Show is also the perfect place to check out RC cars? RC company Team Associated arrived at this year's show with something special; a full-size scale model of the RC10 complete with all of the features you'd expect to see on a small-scale model.

That's right, the company actually made a 1:1 RC10 Buggy as a way to celebrate its 40th anniversary. From the suspension system, the chunky tires by Ska Trak, the distinct body, and the massive wing at the back, the RC10 Buggy looks just like the mini RC car it's based on. The 1:1 scale model also gets a racing seat complete with a harness courtesy of PRP seats, off-road dampers by King Shocks, and aftermarket wheels by Raceline.

While the vehicle itself may be based on an RC car, the engine powering the full-size scale model is actually a real engine. In fact, the supposed engine seems to be a Volkswagen flat-four engine sourced from a Beetle. No details were shared by Team Associated about the powertrain but we're quite sure it's been modified to suit the RC10 Buggy's needs when going off the beaten path.
