SLEX San Pedro northbound exit now open
SLEX San Pedro NB exit to relieve congestion in Southwoods and cut down travel times further

Motorists and commuters in the San Pedro, Laguna, and nearby areas can now access the South Luzon Expressway faster than they used to when going to Metro Manila.
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), along with DOTr and SMC Tollways, has opened the new SLEX San Pedro northbound toll interchange, promising faster travel times and a more convenient journey for San Pedro City motorists going to the National Capital Region.

Before, SLEX used to only have the southbound exit of San Pedro. This meant motorists in SLEX from the northbound lane going to San Pedro City had to take the Susana Heights exit, only to cross the southbound entry to exit again at the San Pedro southbound toll plaza. Likewise, motorists coming from San Pedro City also had to use Manila South Road in Muntinlupa City to reach NCR.
The new interchange offers a more straightforward solution for motorists going in and out of San Pedro City. According to DOTr, the new exit saves up to 45 minutes of travel time for motorists and commuters.
The project cost PHP 915 million and was implemented by the DPWH Regional Office IV-A and Laguna 2nd District Engineering Office via multi-year contracts.
