These are all the details of the new 2019 Toyota Avanza, Veloz
Toyota PH launches 2019 Avanza with a starting price of Php 731,000

The compact seven-seater market is heating up once again with Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) officially launching the 2019 Avanza.

Starting with the most obvious change, the 2019 Avanza gets a design overhaul. Taking inspiration from the Alphard and Vellfire, the refreshed Avanza now comes with new split-type LED headlights (standard on E – Veloz models), a Lexus-inspired front grill, and a sportier front bumper. Also new on the Avanza are the more stylish alloy wheel designs and updated tailight garnishes.

Inside, Toyota was also busy changing up the look and feel of the 2019 Avanza. The instrument panel gets a new finish and design, while a digital aircon system makes its way onto the center console. There are even new charging ports placed on the rear seats for easier recharging of phones and other gadgets.

But perhaps the biggest upgrade seen on the 2019 Avanza is the 6.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Available only for the G and Veloz variants, the new system comes with T-Link smartphone mirroring for iOS and Android, CD/DVD/MP3/FLAC playback, an AM/FM radio, Aux, Bluetooth, and USB connectivity. The new system can also support 2 hands-free devices and 5 phones for music streaming. The E and J variants, on the other hand, only come with a 2-DIN sound system that supports CD, MP3, USB, and Aux.

Under the hood, a choice of either a 1.3- or 1.5-liter Dual VVT-i engines are available still for the 2019 Avanza. The former puts out 95 PS with 121 Nm of torque, while the latter produces 103 PS and 136 Nm of torque. Depending on the variant, the Avanza can come with a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmissions.

Standard safety features available across the range of the 2019 Veloz include: dual front airbags, side door impact beams, anti-lock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.

Available body colors for the 2019 Toyota Avanza are: Black Metallic, Beige Metallic, Dark Blue SE, Gray Metallic, Silver Mica Metallic, and White. Exclusive only to the top-of-the-line Veloz is the Dark Red Mica Metallic finish.
