This is Geely's all-electric answer to Nissan Leaf, Tesla Model 3
Geometry A to serve as Geely's take on the electric revolution

After debuting in concept form about a month ago as the GE11, Geely has revealed their new electric sedan under the newly-launched 'Geometry' brand. The new EV brand represent's the company's commitment in an EV future.

Featuring the brand's unique 'Multi-dimensional, fluid and alive' design language, the Geometry A comes with a minimalist yet stylish aesthetic that combines familiar styling cues with futuristic elements. Its fluid-like design also gives the EV an impressive drag coefficient of 0.2375 cd which Geely claims is on par with high-performance cars.
A sleek set of headlights adorn the front fascia of the EV, while thin taillights give the sedan a sports car-like appearance. Finally, it gets a nice set of alloy wheels, as well as creases and lines that further enhance the EV's eye-catching looks.

The minimalistic approach makes its way in the cabin. Instead of having a wide array of controls, digital displays and touch-sensitive buttons gives the EV a high-tech yet subtle design. A huge 12.3-inch screen makes its home on the center dash while a smaller display serves as the instrument panel for the driver.
Aside from those, Geely also made use of eco-friendly materials that meet Europe's stringent environmental protection standards. The automaker even went on to say that the fabrics used are baby skin-safe, breatheable and are resistant to foul odors.
The Geometry A is available in two variants, a standard range and a long range version. The former has a lithium battery capacity of 51.9 kWh while the latter has a maximum capacity of 61.9 kWh. These translate to a maximum cruising range of 410 km and 500 km respectively. Driving both the regular and long range variants is a permanent synchronus magnet motor. The powertrain produces 163 PS and 250 Nm of torque, allowing the EV sedan to reach 0 – 100 km/h in 8.8 seconds.
With fast-charging technology available, the Geometry A's batteries can be recharged from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes. Should you need the EV's batteries to power other devices such as laptops, lamps and other gadgets, the Geometry can do so with the Super E Energy Station System in play.

Besides having a high-tech electric powertrain, the Geometry A is also equipped with the latest in active safety systems. Thanks to a wide array of cameras and sensors, as well as an intelligent radar, it comes with: front collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, rear cross traffic alert, lane-keep, and lane-change assist, and blind spot detection. There's even an automated parking assist feature with a 360-degree all-around view for safer and easier parking.

“Geely is a strong force and active participant in the field of new energy. We are guided by technological innovation and are determined to become a global leader in new energy. Geometry is our answer to the future of the industry, a representation of our ideals, and a firm step into a “beautiful new world,” said An Conghui, Geely Holding Group president and Geely Auto Group president and CEO.

The new Geometry A has already received 27,000 orders, 18,000 of which are from customers in Singapore, France, and even Norway.
