2019 Kia Stinger GT launched, priced at PhP 3.235 million
Kia Philippines debuts all-new Stinger as the company's halo model

Kia’s take on the sleek and suave sports sedan has made its way to the Philippines. After a myriad of teasers, Kia Philippines has officially debuted the Stinger at the 2019 Manila International Auto Show.
Featuring an aggressive and muscular design coupled to a turbocharged powertrain, the all-new Stinger combines daring looks and GT comfort, with sports car-like performance. It serves as one of the brand's most powerful offerings and comes with a plethora of standard equipment.

Taking inspiration from the previous GT and GT4 Stinger concept designs, the Stinger has a long hood, short deck design along with a coupe-like roofline which accentuates its sexy silhouette. Then there's the signature tiger-nose grill up front that is accompanied by a set of eye-catching headlights. Large 19-inch alloy wheels, along with sleek set of taillights and exhausts add to the sedan's more purposeful look.

Inside, the Stinger veers away from the traditional cabin. Instead it has a driver-oriented cockpit that is complemented by a minimalist interior. Leather upholstery comes as standard, along with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, power-adjustable leather seats with memory function, dual zone automatic climate control with rear vents, engine start/stop button, 9-speaker Harman/Kardon sound system and a leather steering wheel complete with multimedia and cruise control buttons.
It also has a high-tech multi-info display that can monitor lateral G-forces, lap times, engine oil temperature, navigation, trip computer, as well as turbo boost.

Under the hood, the Stinger GT is only available with one engine option, a 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission. It produces a whopping 370 PS at 6000 rpm and 510 Nm of torque at 1300 – 4500 rpm. 0 - 100 km/h comes in at a quick 4.9 seconds while top speed is rated at 270 km/h. Since it can go fast, Kia also installed Brembo brakes on all four corners to aid the Stinger slow down quicker.

In terms of safety, the all-new Stinger comes with the following: anti-lock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution and brake assist, cruise control, lane keep assist, rear cross traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, stability and traction control, hill-start assist, tire pressure monitoring, 360-degree around-view monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, and seven airbags.
Kia is only launching one variant of the Stinger GT, and is priced as follows:
