We have some good news for those that have been patiently waiting for the all-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class. The long wait will soon be over as the 2021 S-Class will be arriving in the Philippines later this year. Best of all, you can now place an order for the flagship sedan to secure a unit. All you have to do is contact Mercedes-Benz Philippines today.
Starting this April, interested customers can now place an order for the S-Class model they want. By that, we mean they can customize and spec the vehicle to suit their liking. Mercedes-Benz Philippines will be offering a detailed demonstration of available features to help customers configure their vehicles.
Configuring the car is half the fun since the 2021 S-Class is loaded with tech, luxury, and convenience features. For starters, the rear seats are available with a massage function. They also feature 18-motors to help find the optimum seating position. Also, the airconditioning can soothe occupants by releasing relaxing scents through the climate control system. There’s even an option for a 4D surround sound for audiophiles. Other features include Mercedes’ latest MBUX infotainment system, active safety, and screens. Let’s not forget about the ultra-luxurious Mercedes-Maybach as well, with an even more posh cabin and use a wide variety of materials.
As for the car itself, the new S-Class is an evolution from the previous model. It has slimmer headlights and a wider grille, both of which have a more rounded design. At the rear, the sedan now uses slim horizontal taillights, similar to the C- and E-Class. It breaks away from tradition as it no longer has a vertical design like the past four generations. Opt for the Maybach version, and you can even spec it with two-tone paint, a different grille design, and bespoke wheels.
For the engines, there are new turbocharged, mild-hybrid inline-six engines and turbodiesels options to choose from. In Europe, the diesel-powered base S350 d makes 286 PS along with 600 Nm of torque. The lowest powered gas engine is the S450 with 367 PS and 500 Nm of torque. Back to diesel power and the S400 d puts out 330 PS and 700 Nm of torque. The most powerful engine in the range is in the S500, which packs 435 PS and 520 Nm. Expect the twin-turbo V8 and possibly even a V12 in the future AMG models.
