2022 Lexus ES launched, starts at PHP 3.758 million
Lexus Philippines marks Philippine debut of refreshed 2022 ES sedan, now with a hybrid option

Are you one of the few that pre-ordered the refreshed Lexus ES a few months back? We have some good news. The luxury sedan is officially here.
Lexus Philippines has officially launched the 2022 ES for the Philippine market. Unlike before, where the ES was only available in one variant, there are now two to choose from – ES 300h and ES 350 Premier. Yes, those that want to drive (or be driven around ) something more economical can choose a hybrid version of the sedan for the first time.

In terms of design, the styling changes on the refreshed ES are quite subtle. Up front, there's a new grille with a vertical pattern flanked by new LED headlights. At the rear, the bumper loses the exhaust cutouts opting for a cleaner design. Meanwhile, the taillights have been darkened, adopting a smoked finish.
More of the upgrades for the 2022 model can be found where it matters: inside. There's a new touchscreen infotainment front and center. Lexus Philippines also offers customers more color options for the interior.

The new hybrid variant – ES 300h – will serve as the new “entry-level” model for the ES range and retails for PHP 3,758,000. It doesn't have a V6 under the hood but instead uses a 2.5-liter inline-four paired with an electric motor.
Lexus says total system output is rated at 218 PS and 300 Nm torque. Power is then sent to the front wheels via an E-CVT. Apart from hybrid badges, the ES 300h rides on smaller 17-inch wheels. Inside, you get an 8-inch touchscreen paired with a 10-speaker audio system. Unfortunately, there is no Lexus Safety Sense on this variant. The hybrid option retails for PHP 3,758,000.

For those that want a more premium feel, the ES 350 Premier is the right choice. It ditches the 2.5-liter hybrid for a 3.5-liter V6 with 302 PS and 356 Nm torque. It is then matched with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. On the outside, it rides on larger 18-inch wheels, and inside there's an even larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Audiophiles will also enjoy the 17-speaker Mark Levinson sound system.
The 350 Premier also comes with semi-aniline leather seats, driver and front passenger 10-way power seats, front-seat ventilation systems, and Lexus Safety Sense. All those added amenities do come at a cost; the ES 350 Premier retails for PHP 4,728,000.

Several customers will be getting their hands on the refreshed ES very soon. If you're interested, you can check it out at the Lexus showroom as retail sales are now open.
