Another big-time fuel rollback set for July 19

Gasoline to be slashed PHP 5, diesel to rollback PHP 2

Do you still have some fuel left in the tank? Better hold onto that for a few hours longer as there will be another set of rollbacks on pump prices. That's right, both diesel and gasoline prices will be slashed anew starting tomorrow, July 19.

As of this time, companies such as Petrogazz, Seaoil, Shell, and Cleanfuel have already announced price reductions across their fuel products. Gasoline will roll back PHP 5 per liter while diesel will be cheaper by PHP 2 per liter. The price of kerosene will also go down but only by PHP 0.70 per liter.

Shell, Petrogazz, and Seaoil will adjust their prices as early as 6:00 AM tomorrow. Meanwhile, Cleanfuel will only reduce pump prices starting at 8:01 AM. Other filling stations have yet to announce rollbacks on their fuel products. However, expect them to post similar reductions within the day.

With gasoline and diesel prices set to become cheaper, tomorrow's fuel price movements will further undo the four consecutive weeks of increase. As a result, gasoline will be slashed by PHP 10.70 while diesel will go down further by PHP 8.10 per liter.

We still have a long way to go in terms of going back to pre-2022 levels of fuel prices. But every rollback is a welcome one. We're hoping that the fuel price reductions will continue in the next coming weeks.
