Another fuel price hike set for tomorrow
This is the fourth consecutive fuel price hike since 2022 started

After experiencing three weeks of consecutive fuel price hikes, some of you might be expecting a rollback this week. Sadly that won't be the case. Several gas companies have announced another round of price increases on gasoline, diesel, and kerosene products.
Companies like Shell, Petrogazz, Seaoil, and Cleanfuel have already released advisories about the upcoming price hike tomorrow, January 25. For gasoline, it will be a price increase of PHP 1.45 per liter. Meanwhile, kerosene will receive a PHP 1.70 price hike. Last but not least is diesel which will get the biggest price hike at PHP 1.90 per liter.
The price adjustments on Shell, Petrogazz, and Seaoil will take effect at 6:00 AM tomorrow. On the other hand, Cleanfuel will only adjust its prices at 4:00 PM, tomorrow. This is the fourth consecutive week that prices of gasoline, diesel, and kerosene have received a big bump in price.
With the big-time price hike set for tomorrow, don’t be surprised to see motorists lining up as early as now at their nearest gas stations. If you do plan on visiting your nearest gas station today, do remember to follow the minimum health and safety protocols. The pandemic is still ongoing and active cases are still being reported in the thousands.
