Facelifted Hyundai Palisade retails for PHP 3.8 million
Facelifted Hyundai Palisade quietly arrives at some local dealers

It looks like Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc (HMPH) is busy preparing several new models for the local market. Aside from the upcoming Stargazer MPV which was recently spotted on a transporter, the refreshed Palisade appears to have been quietly introduced by the Korean automaker at select dealerships.

While browsing the web, we recently came upon a dealership ad that showed the prices of all available models. While we already know that the Creta, Tucson, Staria, and Santa Fe are already available, we noticed another vehicle listed. It's the Palisade, and it's the facelifted one that was recently revealed at this year's New York International Auto Show.
Curious, we decided to call a dealership about the Palisade. According to the sales agent we got to talk to, the flagship SUV is indeed available and comes in one variant. It also comes with a price tag of PHP 3.8 million.

Official details and specs are not yet available for the updated SUV. However, we do know that it's powered by the familiar 2.2-liter turbo-diesel engine that is shared with the Staria. No output figures have been released for the Philippine market, but a quick check at what other markets get shows that it makes 200 PS along with 441 Nm of torque. Power is then transferred to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The equipment list and cabin amenities are also not available at this time. But we can expect the Palisade to come with more features than the Santa Fe. From a bigger touchscreen infotainment system, full-leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats with memory function, as well as a wide array of intelligent driver aids, the Palisade will likely come with plenty more.

With the Palisade already available at select Hyundai dealerships, those who want something bigger than the Santa Fe can now inquire about the Palisade. The only question now is, when will Hyundai officially launch it for the Philippines?
