Here's the 2023 Hyundai Palisade, before you're supposed to see it

It looks like someone at Hyundai forgot to double-check what YouTube thumbnail they had to originally upload for the livestream link. That's because they accidentally revealed an upcoming model before its official debut at this year's New York International Auto Show (NYIAS).

What you're looking at right now is the 2023 Hyundai Palisade, and it's sporting a noticeable refresh. How did we know that this is in fact Hyundai's updated flagship SUV? Before the accidental leak, the Korean automaker actually already released two teaser images of the refreshed Palisade.

Compared to the SUV's current design, it now gets a larger grille with wings at the top, new vertical LED daytime running lights (DRLs), and what appear to be redesigned headlights mounted on the bumper. We also managed to see new alloy wheels in one of the other teasers.

But thanks to the newly-leaked photo, we now have a better look at the soon-to-be-launched SUV. It now gets a wider 'Cascading Grille' with wings, new eye-catching vertical LED DRLs, updated bumper-mounted headlights, an updated lower air intake, and what looks to be a more prominent hood. And as seen earlier, it now rolls on multi-spoke alloy wheels which give the 2023 Palisade a more premium appearance.

Other details regarding the 2023 Hyundai Palisade are not yet available. But with the New York International Auto Show just a few days away, we can expect more details to be revealed once the automaker streams the launch live.

After its launch at this year's NYIAS, do you think the new distributor Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc (HMPI) can bring the updated Palisade over? Or will they only offer the Santa Fe as the premier crossover model for the country?
