The 2018 Indonesia International Motor Show is in full swing, and on its opening day provided the stage for the premier of Honda’s new Small RS Concept.

This year, Honda’s theme is “Drive Sporty – Live Safely”, and their newest hatch seems to bring both fundamentals together in a pretty, albeit tiny package. Based on what seems to be the platform of the new Brio, the Small RS also borrowed what looks to be the front end of the Brio’s bigger cousin, the Mobilio RS. From the bold design of the front fascia, to its metallic orange paint, this hot hatch is a show stealer.

The sport-styled small hatchback should likely gives a glimpse into what the next-gen Brio might look.

"Honda Small RS Concept is an implementation of endless innovation from Honda that emphasizes the sporty spirit, especially in the lineup of small cars. As a concept car, this car represents Honda's vision of how a small sports car should be," said Takehiro Watanabe, president Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor.

The Small RS Concept is meant to attract the younger market, and even those who look for a capable car for the occassional spirited drive. As of publishing, no technical details have been given out by Honda but given the RS badge on the grill, we can be sure that Honda will nail it on the head with this sporty little hatchback.
