If you ever wanted to relive your childhood dream of becoming a member of the Ghostbusters, Lego has just made it easier to do so. The toy manufacturer's newest kit is the ECTO-1, and it's based on the original movie car used in the classic 1984 movie.

Do note this isn't the first time Lego has released an ECTO-1 set. It's the third official ECTO-1 Lego set. However, this new one is a lot bigger and even harder to build as the old ones only had around 500 pieces. Meanwhile, this new ECTO-1 kit is comprised of 2,352 pieces and is part of the Lego Creator line. Once built, it measures in 47cm long, 22.5cm high, and 16.5cm wide, making it quite a sizable figure.

As for the kit itself, Lego has done a great job recreating the details of ECTO-1, which is based on a 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor ambulance. No surprise there as the toy manufacturer says the Ghostbusters ECTO-1 is the “most detailed Lego brick recreation” yet.

From the flat front end to the red tail fins, the vehicle details are all there. More importantly, it even has all the equipment used the Ghostbusters in the movie. It features a working steering wheel, ghost trap, extendable rear gunner seat, and even a deployable ghost sniffer. No doubt, fans of Ghostbusters will get very excited just building the scale model.

If you happen to own the already-discontinued Lego Ghostbusters firehouse set, the new ECTO-1 would be a perfect addition to the collection. If not, it would still be a neat art piece in your living room, man cave, or wherever it ends up on display. Also, building the 2,352-piece Lego set should be a great way to burn time while waiting for the new Ghostbusters: Afterlife movie to debut.

Who you gonna call...to get one? Well, it is not officially on sale just yet but will be available starting November 15, 2020. Each kit costs USD199.99 or roughly PhP 9,618, not bad considering it is around the same price as the Land Rover Defender set.
