NISMO now sells brand new parts for the R33, R34 Skyline GT-R

If you happen to own an old car, especially 90's cars and older, you'd know that finding parts to keep it in good running condition are getting harder to come by. Should you happen to chance upon any, they're likely in used condition. If you're lucky, you might find some brand new old stocks, but will probably cost the proverbial arm and a leg.

To help keep some of their 'classic' performance cars on the road, Nissan is now offering parts for the R33 and R34 Skyline GT-R in Japan as part of the NISMO Heritage Parts Program. Previously, the heritage parts program only offered parts for the R32 Skyline GT-R, but has now expanded to cater to the highly sought after and ever appreciating R33 and R34 GT-R models as well.

All in all, there are now 160 parts available for all models, from the smallest mechanical bits to even larger body panels. This includes some of the hardest parts to find such as hoses and seals in the engine bay, and even wiring harnesses and weather stripping for the doors and windows. If you ever get into a fender bender, you can also purchase a brand new front bumper and even a brand new impact beam straight from Nissan for your ever appreciating GT-R. That said, they do cost a pretty penny.

The NISMO Heritage Parts programs is actually a mulit-company effort which includes Nissan, NISMO and Autech Japan. For the time being, the parts listed on the websites are the only ones available. However, they will be expanding the list depending on demand.

Like before, the parts are only being offered in Japan. While this is the case (hopefully only for now), we're still pretty sure that GT-R owners all over the world will have the means to ship them to where they are.
