Save the date: 2025 BMW M5 Touring launches August 15
After a lengthy teaser campaign, the next-gen BMW M5 Touring will debut this August

We already know that BMW will release a wagon version of the all-new M5. Just last year, the automaker revealed the first images of the next-generation M5 Touring albeit wearing a camouflage livery. It was then quickly followed by the launch of the all-new 5 Series Touring which we hope will make its way here in the Philippines alongside the 3 Series Touring.
After a myriad of teasers and announcements, BMW is finally ready to launch the next-generation M5 Touring. This comes after the German brand confirmed that the high-performance wagon will be making its global debut on August 15, 2024, at Pebble Beach.

No other details were shared by the automaker. However, we already know what to expect once BMW unveils it. For starters, the wagon will likely be powered by the same plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version of the brand's 4.4L TwinPower Turbo found in the all-new M5. It's assisted by an electric motor and high-capacity battery pack which will give it a total system output of 717 PS and 1,000 Nm of torque.
With a fully charged battery, BMW claims the vehicle can cover up to 69 km without using a drop of fuel and reach speeds up to 140 km/h. Moreover, the vehicle can sprint from 0 – 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 305 km/h. Other features like an adaptive M suspension, M Servotronic variable steering ratio, M Carbon Ceramic brakes, and M-specific accents will also likely be available in the M5 Touring.

Style-wise, the yet-to-be-revealed M5 Touring will most likely look sleeker and more dynamic than the regular 5 Series Touring. Unique alloy wheel designs, a special grille, along with distinct badges are to be expected in the all-new M5 Touring.
With the official reveal set in the coming weeks, we're hoping BMW reveals more info and teasers about the next-generation M5 Touring.
