Tetsuya Fujita is new Isuzu PH president
Tetsuya Fujita to take over IPC operations from outgoing president Noboru Murakami

Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) will start the year 2023 with a change in leadership. After just seven months, current IPC president Noboru Murakami will turn over the reins to Tetsuya Fujita.
Fujita, who will arrive in January is a Senior Executive of Isuzu Motors Limited Japan (IML) and has more than three decades of experience under IML handling different overseas markets like the United States and Latin America.
With his extensive knowledge in both the light commercial and truck markets, he is expected to continue Isuzu’s reign as the number one truck brand in the country, which is poised to record its 23 consecutive years of holding this position by the end of the year.

On the other hand, Noboru Murakami, who joined IPC in May, will be assigned to Isuzu North America Corporation to oversee the Isuzu business in that region. During his term, Murakami was able to maintain IPC’s number one position in the truck market which is now at 48% and has strongly led the company in its ‘Road To Progress’ coming from the pandemic.
He also ensured more sustainable plant operations for IPC by transitioning 100% to renewable energy, as well as continuing to expand and modernize its dealer network to cater to a bigger market nationwide.
