Comes in two variants, and three new colors

A few days ago, Motor Image Pilipinas, the official distributor of Subaru dropped their first teaser image of the all-new Crosstrek; which is basically the third-generation XV but with a new global name.

There were no other details at the time, but now we have more to share about Subaru's soon-to-be-launched crossover.

Both trims will be powered by a 2.0-liter, naturally aspirated Boxer engine making 156 PS and 196 Nm of torque. The engine will be paired to a Lineartronic CVT that sends power to all four wheels through Subaru's Symmetrical AWD system.

The EyeSight 4.0 also features Autonomous Emergency Steering, Lane Departure Prevention, and Lane Centering among its wide list of ADAS functions.

Inside, you can expect the all-new Crosstrek to have an 11.6-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
