Design renders of the 2024 Hyundai Creta revealed ahead of Jan 16 launch
Yesterday, pictures of the 2024 Hyundai Creta were leaked ahead of its official launch in India this coming January 16. Despite the grainy quality of the leaked images, we were able to get a better look at the refreshed crossover which now looks more like a mini Palisade rather than a pint-sized Tucson.
With only a week to go before its debut, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has decided to reveal more images of the soon-to-be-launched 2024 Creta. After releasing teaser images last week, the automaker has revealed new design renderings of the stylish B-segment crossover.
Like the leaked pictures we saw yesterday, the renderings show us what we already saw prior. The updated crossover SUV will get a boxier and more prominent front end. It now features the brand's “Sensuous Sportiness” design language that the automaker claims gives the vehicle a bolder stance.
Taking inspiration from the Palisade, the front fascia stands out with the parametric black chrome grille and upright hood design – giving the 2024 Creta a more assertive look. The quad-beam LED headlights and restyled LED daytime running lights, meanwhile, highlight the more rugged appearance of the refreshed crossover.
Receiving the most drastic change is the rear. Gone is the distinct LED taillight pattern from before as it now features a more traditional LED taillight cluster. It gets a blacked-out trim piece that runs the entire width of the vehicle and is accompanied by new LED lighting. Last but not least are the more rugged bumpers and new alloy wheels.
“We take great delight in presenting the avant-garde design renders and exciting direction of the forthcoming new Hyundai Creta. By seamlessly blending Hyundai’s signature design language, 'Sensuous Sportiness,' with cutting-edge technologies, the new Hyundai Creta is once again set to revolutionize the SUV lifestyle in India. The new Hyundai Creta promises to fulfill the dreams of those seeking a contemporary and adventurous SUV, boasting a robust stance and an authoritative presence on the roads. Rooted in Hyundai’s proven SUV DNA, this ground-breaking offering is poised to be the vanguard of your wanderlust,” said Tarun Garg, COO of Hyundai Motor India Limited.
Since we already saw the facelifted Creta yesterday, all we can do now is wait for the big reveal and check out more of its details next week once Hyundai takes the covers off.
