435 PS MG4 XPower will sell for around PHP 2M to 2.1M
The MG4 XPower can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a brisk 3.9 seconds

SAIC Motor Philippines has big plans for next year. Yesterday, the automaker previewed not one but two upcoming vehicles that are set to be launched in the first half of 2024 - the MG One crossover and the sleek MG Cyberster EV.

However, there is one more vehicle that will also be making its way to the country next year - the MG4 XPower. That’s right, the most powerful version yet of the MG4 will also be available in the Philippines next year.
Unlike the regular MG4 which is a rear-wheel drive (RWD) hatchback, the MG4 XPower comes with all-wheel drive thanks to a dual motor setup. This gives the MG4 XPower a healthy 435 PS along with a meaty 600 Nm of torque. In addition, MG claims the XPower can sprint from 0 - 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds which makes it comparable to sports cars and even supercars in terms of acceleration.

Aside from having a powerful set of electric motors, the MG4 XPower also has equally powerful brakes. It gets big disc brakes that measure 345mm on all four corners which help shave off speed as quickly as possible. Moreover, the suspension has been upgraded with stiffer anti-roll bars, recalibrated springs & dampers, and sharper steering.
Other details regarding the MG4 XPower will be revealed at a later date. However, an anonymous source told us that the electric hot hatch will be priced at around PHP 2.1 to 2.2 million once it’s revealed next year.

With the MG One, MG Cyberster, and MG4 XPower all slated to arrive in the country next year, SAIC Motor Philippines will have its hands full come 2024.
