All-new 2024 Lexus GX arrives in PH showroom
The first batch of 2024 Lexus GX has been spoken for

It seems Lexus Philippines is already busy preparing for the official launch of the next-generation GX. After announcing last year that they will be launching a trio of vehicles for the first half of 2024, the Land Cruiser Prado's more luxurious twin has been spotted in the Philippines.
Despite Lexus not yet officially saying the 2024 GX's debut, an eagle-eyed enthusiast was able to spot the all-new SUV somewhere in what looks to be Bonifacio Global City in Taguig. With that, it may only be a matter of time before the luxury automaker holds its grand debut.

So what can we expect from the 2024 Lexus GX once it's revealed? Well, based on government regulatory approval we reported last year, the all-new GX will come with a 3.4-liter twin-turbo gas V6 that will be paired with a 10-speed automatic gearbox. In international markets, the engine makes an impressive 349 PS with 650 Nm of torque and is connected to a sophisticated 4WD system.
It has a full-time 4WD system with an electronic transfer case and a Torsen limited-slip differential with a locking feature. The Overtrail variant, meanwhile, has an added electronic locking rear diff for extra traction along with a Multi-Terrain Select (MTS), Crawl Control, Downhill Assist Control, and 3D Multi-Terrain Monitor systems. You can check out more of the 2024 GX in action by reading our feature when we drove it in Arizona earlier this year.
Aside from having such a powertrain, the 2024 GX will also have plenty of amenities like captain seats on the second, semi-aniline leather and NuLuxe leather, a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment display, a 12.3-inch digital cluster, and wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto.

As for pricing and variants, a well-placed source recently told us that there will be two GX models available; the Overtrail and the top-spec Premier. The former will reportedly sell for PHP 7.5 million while the latter will supposedly retail for PHP 8.5 million.

If you're looking to get one for yourself, you might have to wait for the next batch to arrive as the initial units that were brought in have all been spoken for and are awaiting their owners. With that, guess it's time to let Lexus know you want to reserve a unit.
