All-new BAIC B40 4x4 to debut at MIAS 2025
Second-generation BAIC B40 to get plenty of new tech for 2025

BAIC Philippines distributor United Asia Automotive Group Inc (UAAGI) is going all out for this year’s Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). Aside from giving us an early preview of the B60 Beaumont rEV, the automaker has also given us a sneak peek of the all-new 2025 B40 Trail Master.

Now on its second generation, the next-generation 4x4 SUV gets a sleek new look that appears to have been inspired by the likes of the Ford Bronco. Its boxy looks are combined with eye-catching LED lighting signatures and off-road exterior styling.

Beginning with what’s under the hood, the B40 Trail Master will be powered by a 2.0L Aucan turbo-diesel engine that makes 161 PS and 390 Nm of torque. It is then paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and a part-time 4WD system courtesy of Borg Warner. Complimenting its go-anywhere hardware are its massive 17-inch all-terrain tires, 220mm of ground clearance, and power-retractable step boards for easier ingress/egress.
To make it more than capable when going off the beaten path, the B40 Tra il Master also comes with 11 all-terrain drive modes, front & rear locking differentials, crawl control, and an off-road turn assist system, which allows for better traction and maneuverability.

The B40 Trail Master is also equipped with plenty of amenities like microfiber leather seats, a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, power-adjustable seats with memory function and cooling, and a suite of advanced driver assist systems (ADAS) for extra peace of mind on-road or off-road.

See it up close when MIAS 2025 officially opens its doors to the public next week from April 10 - 13.
