All-new Toyota Prius debuts November 16, 2022
Here's your first (teaser) look at the next-gen Prius

Yes, you read that headline correctly. Toyota will be debuting the all-new Prius this week and they have already released several teaser images of the next-generation hybrid.
Set to be revealed in Japan this coming November 16, 2022, Toyota will livestream the official launch via YouTube. Based on the shadowy teasers released by the automaker, the next-gen Prius will adopt a sleeker and more sculpted look.
Beginning with its front end, the 2023 Prius will get a new set of LED headlights that appear to resemble the ones used on the Crown Crossover Sport that was previewed earlier this year. Meanwhile, the overall shape suggests the Prius will continue to be a liftback model which is similar to the outgoing model.

We can expect the all-new Prius to have a more aerodynamic shape in order to fully maximize its efficiency. Toyota has yet to reveal the new electrified powertrains, but we could see the 2023 Prius get a new 2.0-liter hybrid engine that will replace the current 1.8-liter four-cylinder hybrid.
Aside from that, the Prius might come with new solid-state batteries. This comes after Toyota announced that they will begin putting solid-state batteries on production vehicles by 2025. However, Toyota has yet to say which model will be the first production car to come with it.
With just a few days left before Toyota reveals it, we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for any possible leaks or new information regarding the 2023 Prius.
