Different, but still same: This is the new Porsche logo
New logo celebrates 75 years of Porsche sports cars

Porsche is known the world over for its 911 sports car. Not only because of its performance but because of how it evolved while remaining close to the original design that was born in 1964.

Along with the evolution of the 911, Porsche's own crest has also received updates throughout the years but remains recognizable. And to celebrate 75 years of Porsche sports cars, Stuttgart has introduced the sixth update to its iconic logo.
The trademark was updated in 1954, 1963, 1973, 1994, and 2008. From the last update, the new logo sees the return of the “Stuttgart” lettering above the rising horse.

“With its cleaner and more state-of-the-art execution, the refined crest communicates the character of Porsche. We have reinterpreted historical characteristics and combined them with innovative design elements such as a honeycomb structure and brushed metal. The result is an aesthetically ambitious arc that bridges the history and the future of the brand.” says Michael Mauer, Vice President Style Porsche.
Porsche says the new crest design will be seen on their latest vehicles by the end of 2023. Meanwhile, for those restoring old Porsches, all of the historical crests are available worldwide from Porsche Classic for vintage and new cars within the original parts range.
