Gymkhana star Ken Block has passed away, aged 55
DC Shoes co-founder and professional rally driver Ken Block has died following a snowmobile accident

Professional rally driver and action sports star Ken Block passed away at age 55.

Hoonigan Industries, Block's automotive lifestyle brand has released an official statement on its Instagram page regarding the 55-year-old's untimely demise, saying Block died in a snowmobile accident. Block's team has not disclosed other details for the time being.

"It's with our deepest regrets that we can confirm that Ken Block passed away in a snowmobile accident today," said Hoonigan. "Ken was a visionary, a pioneer, an icon. And most importantly, a father and a husband".
Block became a big star after going viral in his Gymkhana series videos, amassing millions of followers and viewers on YouTube and on social media. In addition, he co-founded the DC shoe brand in 1994, becoming a staple in the skateboarding world.
Rest in peace, Ken Block.
