LOOK: All-new 2026 Kia Seltos looks like the EV5
Kia will hold the global premiere of the all-new Seltos on December 10, 2025

It's been nearly six years since the Kia Seltos first debuted. The Philippine market first received the Seltos in late 2019, and a refreshed version was launched in late 2023. We also got to review the top-of-the-line turbocharged version last year.

Fast forward to near the end of 2025, Kia has revealed the first images of the all-new 2026 Seltos. That's right, a second-generation model of the Kia Seltos will be launched, and we like what we're seeing with the teaser images the automaker has so far revealed.
Now featuring the brand's signature “Opposites United” design language, the all-new Seltos features an EV5-like design. Kia says the next-generation crossover “embodies authentic SUV styling while expressing a forward-looking, high-tech character”, resulting in a look that blends the rugged heritage of past SUVs with the clean, aerodynamic sophistication of the brand's latest crossover SUVs.

While Kia is not yet ready to show the vehicle in full, styling elements from the EV5 (and the Sonet) can be seen, thanks to the distinct LED taillights and LED lighting signatures on the front fascia called Star Map. It also has what appears to be a new pair of LED headlights that look straight out of Cyberpunk. Also adding to the Seltos' more sophisticated look are the flush door handles that give the vehicle an extra layer of refinement.

Powertrain options have yet to be revealed by Kia, although we won't be surprised if it will be available with turbocharged and electrified offerings. After all, Kia is going all in on electrification with its vehicles.

Kia will reveal everything you need to know about the next-generation Seltos on December 10, 2025, when it holds its global premiere next week. With that, we're hoping ACMobility brings it here in the not-so-distant future.
