NLEX to close portion of Candaba southbound tonight
From 8:00 PM tonight until 5:00 AM tomorrow, a section of Candaba Viaduct southbound will be closed to traffic

Heads up motorists, NLEX Corporation has announced they will be closing a lengthy portion of the Candaba Viaduct starting tonight until tomorrow morning.
From 8:00 PM tonight until 5:00 AM the next day, the company will be fixing the 2.1-km southbound segment of the said viaduct. NLEX Corporation says that this is part of the upgrading works along the key roadway.

In order to help southbound motorists get to their destination, a counterflow lane will be implemented at the northbound portion for Manila-bound vehicles. There will also be patrol crews and traffic marshals deployed near the area to guide motorists. Directional signs will also be put up in strategic areas to give drivers an early heads up about the upcoming road works.
With the upgrade works of the Candaba Viaduct northbound now in full swing, the NLEX Corporation wishes for the cooperation and understanding of motorists affected by both the southbound and northbound roadworks.
If you’re thinking of heading to Metro Manila later via NLEX, you might want to drive out early in order to avoid the traffic buildup that will be caused by the concreting works.
